This is the jelly and cake print from London screenprinters Thornback and Peel (who work out of Cockpit Arts in Holborn). It’s my favourite of all their prints – and it’s shown above on a tea towel. Their tea towels are truly lovely; they are very soft, and the prints don’t fade for a long, long time. But if tea towels aren’t your thing, it comes in so many other forms: aprons, napkins, wallpaper – and more. Check it out on their website here, and the good news is that they’re having an Easter Egg Hunt competition at the moment. Exciting!
Hello world!
One from the archives…
Well, this is our first post and we figured why not start with this one. This was taken a few years ago at Gallery Eclectic in Marylebone.
The shop itself is still there and has the loveliest items, many of which are tiny, tiny, tiny – and oh so sweet. And the real superstar is the good-natured and friendly Boston Terrier who is sure to be there when you pop in.
