Some of my favourite street art is in the details. This is what I’m calling The Pavement Couple. They can be found in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. (Or at least they were there when we visited in May 2014.) Rock on pavement people!
Street Art: Barnsbury Street, N1
This was a very short-lived bit of street art at the corner of Barnsbury Street and Upper Street in Islington on the empty hoardings behind what was briefly a community garden, (maybe it still is?). I’m so glad I got some photos because it was swiftly painted over. Not sure why. As far as I know, the bit on the pavement remains.
The whole quote reads, ‘Turn and face your fears, and watch them melt into roses.’ Sharks and melting roses = a real eye-catcher. It was signed ‘bambi’. And was taken on 2nd October 2014.
